Implementation
The Music curriculum underlines the intention of incorporating music performance, composition and technology as much as possible. Progression is encouraged through the development of different skills and techniques which results in students becoming more confident and taking ownership of their work. All students have access to music and personalised learning strategies are in place to ensure all are able to achieve.
The curriculum on offer reflects the ongoing changes in the music industry through performance, composition and music technology. The KS3 curriculum reflects these changes through practical experience, feeding directly into the KS4 BTEC curriculum.
