School Uniform
Why we have a school uniform:
Our aim is for a reasonable formal school uniform which avoids inequalities of dress between pupils and prevents extremes of fashion in clothes.
A smart and tidy appearance demonstrates self-respect and a commitment to the school and its ethos.
It helps to make a good impression on visitors to the school, the wider community, and external bodies, such as Sixth Form Providers, Colleges and potential employers.
It supports students in their post-Banovallum career as they understand the importance of a smart appearance for interviews and future employment opportunities.
The school is equally conscious of the need not to make unnecessarily expensive demands of parents. Our uniform is available from Nationwide School Uniforms in Spilsby who have the facility for online purchasing. Common items such as black trousers, white shirts and black socks can be purchased from other outlets.
