Pupil Premium

Pupil premium funding is a national initiative designed to raise attainment for all disadvantaged pupils.

We are committed to addressing the needs and supporting the progress of all our children from disadvantaged backgrounds as a priority. View our strategy to find out more details.

Catch Up & Recovery Premium

Following the pandemic, we received funding streams entitled Catch Up and Recovery.

Catch Up premium related to 2020-21, this grant enabled us to provide targeted support to identify and narrow gaps to learning.

Recovery premium was introduced in September 2021. It is new one-off funding for the 2021/22 academic year. Building on the pupil premium, this funding will help schools to deliver evidence-based approaches for supporting the most disadvantaged pupils.
